On July 26th The Restoration House, including TRH families, staff and mentors, all converged at Hardin Valley Church of Christ for our quarterly Family Night. It was a very fun night filled with bountiful food, laughter, water games for the kids, and powerful training for the adults.
We want to say a special thanks to Stanley Taylor, COO of the Tennessee Valley Coalition for the Homeless. Stanley shared with the mentors and staff from his heart as he challenged us about God’s view of restoration and what our roles as staff and mentors might look like in that process. I believe we all walked away filled with renewed insight and understanding of the journey of restoration!
Thank you, Hardin Valley Church of Christ for hosting us. You made us feel welcome and went above and beyond with everything from the food to the games to making sure everything we needed for a successful Family Night was in place!
